Our vision

Across our typical industries there have been quite a few advancements and announcements. This week was especially busy in the realm of spatial computing. New operating systems from Snap and Apple are bringing both practical and innovative experiences to Augmented and Mixed Reality. Meta’s Connect conference is sure to have some jaw dropping announcements in its own right when it comes to their line of Rayban smart glasses.

TikTok will live on in the US after a group of investors team up with Oracle to take over. This provides a US controlled version of the popular app to lessen fears of Chinese data manipulation. The other big update in AI was Coinbase and Google’s partnership to provide payment methods for AI agents. While that sounds straight out of the future it means a lot for economies that will be built on top of thousands and then millions AI agents without human intervention.

Humanoid robots continue to become more mainstream and 2026 will be a year where we see a big uptick in their adoption and maybe even the first Star Wars-esque droid for your home.

Lastly a new dark horse is appearing and gaining traction - Longevity. This trend is a great one but comes with a lot of complications. If we can live forever (or at least much longer to like 200) what does that mean for society? Well with autonomous cars, robots and economies built on the backs of AI agents, society will have to adjust to that anyway. So might as well extend human lifespan while we’re at it.
