Welcome to the cutting edge ⚔️

Artificial Intelligence

  1. Google announces Nano-Banana
Image editing in Gemini just got a major upgrade and replaces the need for Photoshop (Google)

  2. Founder of Google's Generative AI Team Says Don't Even Bother Getting a Law or Medical Degree

Because AI's Going to Destroy Both Those Careers Before You Can Even Graduate (Futurism)

  3. Mirage 2: The Next Leap in Generative World Engines

A new challenger in realtime 3D world generation as the future of video games. (Dynamic Labs)

Our vision
We used to be tied to the Adobe Creative Cloud for Photoshop image editing but now with a single line of text you can accomplish what used to take hours or days. Same thing goes for creating video games (at least rudimentary demos) when it comes to Mirage 2 from Dynamic Labs similar to Genie 3 from Google.

These models are accelerating the ability to create or manipulate pixels at an astonishing rate. The signs are becoming more clear to back up claims from people that say “don’t even bother getting a law or medical degree” because AI will be way better at those professions than you.

Spatial Computing

  1. Samsung XR headset leak reveals potential price and release date
According to Newsworks (via GSMArena), Samsung is plotting another Unpacked event for Monday, September 29, to announce the Android XR headset. (TechRadar)

  2. Meta’s HUD glasses could support 3rd party apps
Meta has reached out to third-party developers to build "experimental apps" for its upcoming HUD glasses with sEMG wristband, CNBC reports. (UploadVR)

Our vision
Spatial computing is filled with rumors and fluctuating hype cycles but we are steadily approaching another holiday season with potential new additions to device lineups. Project Moohan has everyone anticipating an Apple Vision competitor and Meta continues to differentiate their product offerings by preparing for the potential release of their smart glasses paired with an sEMG wristband.

Robotics

  1. NVIDIA Blackwell-Powered Jetson Thor Now Available, Accelerating the Age of General Robotics
NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor developer kit and production modules, robotics computers designed for physical AI and robotics, are now generally available. (NVIDIA)

  2. Boston Dynamics humanoid robot shows off whole-body moves

The robot, called Atlas, is seen in a video using whole-body movements such as walking, crouching, and lifting. (Boston)

Our vision
NVIDIA continues to innovate and do the impossible. Reducing the physical size of their chips while greatly increasing the efficiency and power of the compute. This will be a huge boost to the robotics industry and help accelerate societal adoption and integration of humanoid robots like Boston Dynamics’ Atlas.

Transportation

  1. Joby Achieves the First Piloted eVTOL Air Taxi Flight Between Two Public Airports
The achievement is a major step towards commercial market readiness, highlighting key capabilities across safety, operations, air traffic control and certification progress. (Joby)

  2. Waymo approved to start autonomous vehicle testing in New York City
Waymo has been granted a permit to test its autonomous vehicles in New York City, the first such approval granted by the city. (TechCrunch)

Our vision
While they aren’t flying cars eVTOL are making progress towards becoming a part of our everyday lives. These flying craft aren’t necessarily huge departures from what we already have flying through the skies today but they do provide a glimpse of the future. It doesn’t look like we’ll have flying cars in the next few years that you see in movies like Star Wars or Fifth Element but we are well on our way.

Gaming

  1. The end of an era - no more console wars between PlayStation and Xbox
The long awaited decision to make games available across all platforms has come after an announcement at Gamescom. (X)

  2. Gamescom 2025: All the news, trailers, and previews

From Opening Night Live announcements to hands-on demos, here's what we saw (Polygon)

  3. Wilder World launches Super Early Access with partner Samsung
This initial release allows players to enter Wiami, a neon-lit, Miami-inspired metropolis that serves as the central hub of the Wilder World metaverse. (Esports Insider)

Our vision
The gaming industry continues to evolve and have it’s ups and downs but we must admit it’s getting more exciting. With the advent of more consumer ready Web3 gaming from Wilder World and Samsung and the end of the console wars we could see a whole new wave of gaming experiences once GTA 6 finally graces us with its presence. Will it have a Web3 component or in game economy? Those are the rumors but we’ve been waiting quite some time to find out what a game that costs billions of dollars to develop will be when it’s released.

Space

  1. SpaceX's giant Starship Mars rocket nails critical 10th test flight in stunning comeback (https://www.space.com/space-exploration/private-spaceflight/spacex-launches-starship-flight-10-critical-test-flight-video)

Our vision
SpaceX continues to show us that progress into the final frontier can be more efficient and effective with continued breakthroughs and demonstrations of technological prowess. Will they take us to Mars before 2030? Only time will tell!

Big investors are buying this “unlisted” stock

When the founder who sold his last company to Zillow for $120M starts a new venture, people notice. That’s why the same VCs who backed Uber, Venmo, and eBay also invested in Pacaso.

Disrupting the real estate industry once again, Pacaso’s streamlined platform offers co-ownership of premier properties, revamping the $1.3T vacation home market.

And it works. By handing keys to 2,000+ happy homeowners, Pacaso has already made $110M+ in gross profits in their operating history.

Now, after 41% YoY gross profit growth last year alone, they recently reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
